When you talk of Apple, the first thing that comes to mind is innovation. Here is another one of Apple’s innovations, the all new iTunes 9.2 update. Apple recently launched this latest update and it has been designed for Windows and Mac OS X. This latest update comes with a host of enhanced features and a fixes too. However, the thing to look forward is that this update will provide support to the soon to be launched iOS 4 and also support the iPhone4.

I am sure many of you would be very eager to have this update and must be wondering how to get it. Well, the answer is, you can easily download it from Apple’s official site. You can easily download this latest version for Windows and Mac OS X.

I must confess that this update offers much enhanced features and also a much needed reliability to the systems. The following fixes have been included in the latest iTune update: read and sync with iPod touch or iPhone, listen to music or watch TV by syncing with iPhone 4 and even read books. You can sync and organize documents (PDF as books) as well.

With this latest update you can read PDFs with the iBooks 1.1 on your iPhone or iPod touch which is available with iPad and iOS 4. You can also organize various applications on the home screens of the iOS 4 with the help of iTunes. It also offers much speedy backup while syncing an iPhone or iPad with iOS4.

The speeches that were delivered by Benito Mussolini at the time of the introduction of the laws by Italy, which singled out against Jews, are one of the most downloaded items on iTunes website of the Italian version of Apple. Known as the iMussolini, the application has gained huge popularity which has been the major reason of outrage among some Italians.

There are comments galore on the website which condemns the ongoing fascination with Mussolini with one of the members of the Italian Communist Party calling the application as disgraceful. There are as many as 100 of II Duce’s speeches in the application which are available to the users at 79 euro cents. Its download also outnumbered the video game which was based on Cameron’s blockbuster fiction Avatar.

Luigi Marino, the creator of the application had no intention of eulogizing the fascist era; his aim was to depict a sad page in the history of their country he said. The application since its launch on Jan 21 has been downloaded almost a thousand times every day by the users apart from the first two days

Mr. Marino has been thinking to collect the speeches of some other historical figures and intends to do one on Gandhi. The newspaper La Republica on the other hand, termed its popularity as stunning simply because iTunes is more popular with the younger generation. Although it has been 65 long years since Mussolini was strung up, his souvenirs are still doing great business online and even in Predappio, which is his hometown.

Mobigame has made another appearance on the iTunes Apple Store with “Edge by Mobigame”. The game which was available across the U.S. and the U.K. as Edge on the Apple Store from March to May was renamed as Edge by Mobigame following the legal dispute from the Edge Company. Tim Langdell, the owner of the Edge game was involved in a major legal smackdown for the use of the word Edge in the previous iPhone game launched by Mobigame.

Mobigame’s David Papazian said that by renaming to ‘Edge by Mobigame’, they have been able to get the approval of Apple. So, Langdell cannot claim much against ‘Edge by Mobigame’ and this name would be the one that will be used in the U.S. and the U.K.

Earlier, the trademark dispute had led Apple to remove the Edge from the Apple store following a discussion with Langdell. Mobigame was the informed by Apple that the game will be restored only when the disputes have been settled. Edge has not been on sale since July.

Langdell also received a major blow when the developer of the console title Mirror’s Edge, EA DICE filed a complaint to nullify Langdell’s Edge trademark in all regions. There has not been any verdict given for the EA DICE’s suit, the dispute between Langdell and the Mobigame looks to have been settled as the game has been restored by Apple under the new name Edge by Mobigame. Edge is definitely a wonderful game for your iPhone and you should buy one before the next dispute arises.

In general, iTunes is an application which is free for Mac and PC and can sync content to your iPod and iPhone. It also enables you to play all your videos and digital music. The new grid view allows you to browse your artists and albums visually and you can view your preferred TV shows in HD quality by downloading it from the iTune store. With iTune 8 you can sync your media with iPod classic, iPod touch (2nd generation) and iPod Nano (4th generation) to experience an incredible music visualization.

Another new thing in the iTunes 8.2.1 update is that it supports iPhone or iPhone Touch which has the iPhone 3.0 software update. You can get your hands on this update via software update or you can download it directly from the iTunes website.
