Wondering, what’s the next evolution in Apple’s pocket-sized line of non-touchscreen gadgets? As said by well-connected sources and the number of pictures acquired by CoM, the new iPod Touch and iPod Nano are all set to get cameras!
The great surprise it that the camera of the iPod Touch will be located in the center of the device and not offset like the iPhone camera. Whereas, the new camera of the iPod Nano will be placed in the bottom left corner that is the top left when the iPod is held horizontally. The exterior of the Touch remains almost same, but the Nano will get a widescreen display.
Although, this has been widely rumored, the number of images of new cases confirms the rumors. The Chinese case manufacturers are so confident of the dimensions and features that they have already started sending out samples of the cases.
A Chinese distributor in an email to a U.S. reseller admitted that his company had got full information and dimension. The email also revealed that the Chinese case makers came to know about the latest iPods’ exact dimensions in May. To make sure, the case manufacturers, double checked the dimensions and now they are re-dying factory molds to have the cases accessible when the iPods ship.
It is expected that Apple will introduce the new iPods in September. It can be prefigured that if Apple sticks to the pattern of prior iPod updates, both the iPods will get double the current storage capacities, but at the same prices. Taken as a whole, what you can do right now is just wait and watch!
