Though, the rumors were that Apple will discontinue iPod Classic and iPod Shuffle, something contrary happened and that is the removal of these games from iTunes store. Apple has altogether removed the section in iTunes that was devoted to games that were made for classic iPod’s click wheel.

Earlier, gamers were able to access to the games through a link in the iTunes App Store with the name “iPod Click Wheel Games”. It is also expected that Apple will put the iPod Classic to rest during its major “Let’s Talk iPhone” event.

The game is about a huge 18 wheeler truck which the users have to control and has the task of reaching the finishing line along with the load before the time runs out. In the paid version, the gamers have far more options which include variety of trucks, different routes and loads and make sure that they are not thrown off the road. They have to cross all the hurdles in their way and reach the finish line in time. The gamers are rewarded with extra money when they reach their destination before the finishing time. However, they are also penalized when they exceed the time limit by not being able to reach the next level.

The actual show of the Ice Road Truckers is broadcasted all over the world on History and is coming up with the new season which would be based in the fascinating region of Alaska. In the brand new season the Ice Road legends Hugh ‘Polar Bear’ Rowland and Alex Debogorski are making a comeback and they will be joined by the ice road rookie Carlile Transportation George Spears. The series would also feature Lisa Kelly who is the permanent driver in the series.
