U-Port or the Universal Port connection is said to be the company’s new proprietary connection. The newU-Port enabled models comprises of a dock for iPhones, iPods and HD Radio modules.
<p>The new Onkyo’s Universal Port that was first introduced on the company’s TX-SR507 and TX-SR607 AV receivers, are known to provide a single-cable connection for these newly launched accessories. These new accessories provide all the necessary connections like audio, video and control signals. </p>

<p>Onkyo’s UP-A1 dock is capable of recharging the iPhone and iPod to allow you to control the device through Onkyo AV receiver remote control. These newly launched U-Port accessories are compatible with iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPod Touch (1G, 2G), iPod Classic, iPod Nano (1G – 4G), iPod Mini and iPod (4G, 5G).
<p>You will be able to grab UP-A1 doc and charger from May 2009 onwards at a suggested price of <b>$109</b>.  </p>
