You may have made some great videos of your near and dear ones with your iPod Nano and would definitely love them to post on YouTube or other social networking sites. In order to do so, you you would have to transfer them to your computer so that you can edit them. If you were thinking how it is done, here is a simple guide that would enable you to move the recorded videos to your computer.
First of all, you have to connect the iPod Nano to the system after you have enabled the iPod disk and choose iPod in the device list of iTunes. You can then click apply to “Enable disk use” which would appear in the summary tab. You would also need iPod software to transfer the video as iTunes does not let you copy files that are non-purchased from your iPod to your system. When you connect your iPod with the system after installing the software, you would have to run the iPod transfer which would list all the files present in the iPod.
You can then click on “Export” to transfer the chosen recorded video to your system. This operation can also be used to transfer music and images and works in the same way for the Mac users, though, it has a different version for them. For uploading the video to YouTube, you would have to get it in the right format. The video converter software helps you import the iPod recorded video. You have to choose AVI and click “Convert” to convert the video which you upload once you log in YouTube.
